This lambrusco is not only in the business of being delicious, but is also in the business of helping people get back on their feet. Here is how that story goes: there is a man named Enea in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy who takes care of livestock, fruit and adults from his community with drug addictions. He brings together these members of the community teaching them biodynamic farming practices as a modality for change and a higher quality of life. The result is this beautiful sparkling Lambrusco, a light bodied red with tantalizing notes of tart cranberry, pink lady apples, and a crisp dry finish.

Back in stock! And now in trendy new green bottle 👌 Jonc Blanc is Isabelle Carles and Franck Pascal farming 9ha of Demeter-certified vines in Bergerac. Their Les Sens du Fruit Blanc is a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc vinified sur lie in tank. The poor limestone soils and work in the vineyard allow them to achieve very ripe fruit that retains acidity extremely well, creating for contemplative wines of complex aromas and unique texture very much suited to cellar (and also drinking great now!).
